Confetti Bowls

The Confetti Bowl has been designed to be the centre of attention at gatherings of family and friends around the feasting table. This large bowl is a tremendous labour of love and true collaboration between modern technology and artisanal expertise. The form is based on a pressed glass bowl of unknown provenance from around the 1930s. The original arrived broken to pieces but one sliver of the pattern repeat remained intact and so the journey to rekindle this little beaut began! The process was complex. One year later here it is! These bowls are derived from a meticulously crafted and finely honed three-dimensional print of that original fragment that was multiplied and enlarged to achieve the new form.  It is beautiful to have and hold and would make the perfect wedding gift. The bowl would easily hold enough for ten servings.

Product information and care instructions

Slip-cast earthenware ceramic. Small variations add to the uniqueness of each piece, distinguishing them from mass produced ceramics. Hand-washing is recommended for this product. Not for oven use.
